AFC West Ham
If this DOES happen, how many of you would go to watch them rather than WHU?
It seems that the board are trying to get rid of the likes of us attending at the OS, so perhaps it would be a good move for all concerned.
I've been to a few lower and non league games recently, it's a much more enjoyable day out. Club bars run by old biddies who seem to know everyone's name, PIES for £1.50, a sense of community etc. I like all that.
This NEW WHU is not the team I married.
I would attend a Phoenix club.
Not as a protest, I'd still be a WHU fan, but all this sanitised corporate shit is just not my bag.

The same people who say go watch non league are the same lot who moan about neutrals going to the London stadium, dagger fans will tell you to do one!

If you feel you can't watch West Ham anymore, just go and watch a non-league team local to you. Why the pathetic need to make a new little AFC with the name of your old flame? Childish twaddle.

By the way. For all you "die hard" WHU fans who want perfection and success immediately,

1) This is West Ham we're talking about

2) It will take at least 5 seasons for the stadium change and everything linked with it to settle down.

Either have the attitude to stick around and make it work. Or fuck off.

See. So angry I can't spell. At least you've declared publicly and I know who you are.

You'll be begging for cup final tickets no doubt when we get there again.

You lightweight cunts. You're supposed to be there through thick and thin. On or off the pitch. Just fuck off to Brisbane Rd and down let the door lam your arse on the way out.

Fucking disgrace this thread.

Re: AFC West Ham
SS 12,45, I echo what you say regarding your experience of non league football. There is of course an enormous skill difference compared to the PL but on the other hand the effort that players put into the game is equal to that of the PL and these days non league players are fitter than they've ever been.

The fans are different too without the sense of entitlement we all exude at the OS. It's often justified though seeing as what we pay to watch PL football.

While I see the reasons behind this I think as long as West Ham United exist in East London it wont work.

Wimbledon were the only club that this worked with because Wimbledon FC ceased to exist. MK Dons changed their name, club colours, badge and of course location and AFC Wimbledon won back their honours list.

As long as the original WHU exists nothing would happen and it would feel like supporting a different club therefore being a traitor.

Wimbledon didn't have an alternative to support.

I will always love West Ham, but I'm no longer in love with them.

I have no intention of renewing next season and I will take the kids over Roots Hall more often. Crvap football in a crap ground, but with a cracking atmosphere.

Would give you fuck all to debate then though, seeing as all you do is bite back!

True Bulph, but it's not about me and i'd rather see constructive debate by those with a drive to see West Ham do well rather than you and your like coming back to bitch on here when you state you've walked away (supposedly).

Personally i don't care for blokes who state something they've boldly taken the decision to do (like walk away) then try and fuck it up for those who've still want to stay loyal in the knowledge no ownership is 'the club' by bitching on and on. Man the fuck up and stick to your decision and give it up simples.

FC United of Manchester, founded 2005 now play in conference North.

They have their own ground with a current capacity of 4,400. It's called Broadhurst Park and is situated in Morton a suburb of Manchester.

A group of ManU supporters who could not be doing with the Glazers take over of their club went off and and formed their own club from scratch.

This needs to be started up then these willing to walk away'ers can start their own related mincey forum to whine about the lack of atmosphere and vast local park sized gaps.

Paid £14 for Dartford v Sutton at the weekend on a stag do. Groom's season ticket at Sutton was £99 for 23 matches.

For a load of Kent cunts, actually a blinding ground and liked that they've built it so that you can walk all the way around it and so at half time, the behind the goals fans swap ends so that they're always at the end their team are kicking towards.
